As I am back on form and brimming with energy (so they tell me) I will run a prediction league.

In this financial climate there are no financial prizes just the pleasure of getting in right and being the best.

The same rules will apply as previously and if there are enough takers I will run a Knockout Cup as well which I am prepared or some may say stupid enough to provide a bottle of champagne for the winner.

If you wish to participate then drop a post onto the Sixways Cup Forum or just send in your prediction when it is time.

All those who register and those who send in a prediction during September will automatically be  enetered into the draw for the Knockout Cup.

may the best man (or woman) win and remember it is all for fun

Not really it is about WINNING!!!

JP

PS:

This year not every game will count towards your final position. We will run it the similar to the F1 circuit.

Only 75% of the rounds count towards the title of "Prediction King"

Therefore your best scores in 17 rounds will be added up to create your score.

If any company out there would like to sponsor the prizes and give their name to the Cup and get free advertising on the site just contact me. It will cost you 3 prizes and maybe a donation to Acorns Childrens Hospice if I can persuade you.

Please register below.

Scoring:

  • Correct Result (away win. home win, draw) 3 points
  • Exact premiership points - 1 point per team
  • points awarded can be 1, 3, 4 or 5
It is possible to get 1 point if you predict a draw and one side wins but the losing side gets within 7 and 4 tries they would still get 2 prem points and you would get the 1 point for predicting 2 points for a draw.

Please add you name to this thread to register for the prediction league

JP

I'm in JP

Bring it on.

Missed this last season a bit more skill and knowledge than just than predicting scores, so I have a chance of winning.:eng7

Logged and awaiting your 1st prediction, sir.

Just 5 more to join in and we have enough for 4 leagues of 4 in the knockout cup

Welcome aboard.

Have a good laugh and hope the competitiveness doesn't get to you.

Just go along to each round and enter your predictions

Please make sure you put your name at the top of your prediction it makes it easier for me

Thanks

JP
