Now will this be the kick in the pants that drives them on or a blow to their confidence, it could go either way.

If we can blitz them for at lease the first 30 minutes it could have a cumulative affect

Clearly a comprehensive victory for Cardiff, but it must be said the Saints team contained only a sprinkling of first team regulars, possibly 5 or 6, and a lot of youngsters.

Not good for moral though and an odd choice of team to take to a strong Cardiff outfit.

Saints have another game tomorrow at home to the Italian side Benetton Treviso, perhaps they are looking to raise their confidence levels then!

It will certainly help focus their minds. Not a great choice of fixture for me. I would want a guanteed win before the season starts.

We are full of confidence and their chins must be on the ground. Our coaches wont need to keep the guys feet on the ground because of the bad starts we keep having. Saints will no doubt be watching video's and and working hard this week.
