Ulster v Worcester (Wed)
Australia¿s record-breaking full-back Chris Latham is poised to make his debut for Worcester Warriors when they visit Ulster on Wednesday night.
Latham missed the end of the Super 14 campaign for the Queensland Reds because of a ruptured pectoral muscle.
However, it is believed that he is now ready for a return to action after three months of rehabilitation.
Ulster will name their side on Tuesday with Andrew Trimble hoping to feature after minor surgery during the summer.
The Warriors start their Guinness Premiership programme on 7 September against Northampton who have former Ulster trio Paul Shields, Roger Wilson and Neil Best in their ranks.
Wednesday will give coach Mike Ruddock the opportunity to allow Latham a chance to flex his muscles and running skills.
The 32-year-old full-back, who scored 40 tries for the Wallabies in 78 appearances, saw that shoulder injury rob him of a 100th cap for the Reds last May.
The Warriors will provide Ulster with their toughest pre-season challenge. Ulster lost to Bath but had a resounding 24-0 victory over Queensland last Friday.
Ulster is going to be a real test of our game plan and ability to execute it.
They are a side building. The loss to reds is not surprising as the OZ teams do not travel well at this time in their season.
The loss to Bath however is very interesting - Can we do the same?

"The Warriors will provide Ulster with their toughest pre-season challenge."

Shows the respect we are held in in Europe.
We can record a great victory on Wed and both sides will be at their full available strength.
